  • IV access established and secure
  • Fluid resuscitation commenced
  • Urinary catheter inserted and secure
  • Pain controlled
  • Wounds covered
  • Patient is warm
  • Elevate burnt area as appropriate
  • Tetanus status determined and appropriate prophylaxis
  • Nasogastric insitu as necessary
  • Next of kin aware
  • Retrieval service and receiving hospital aware
  • History and relevant documentation copied
